LILLIE – A1053025
Gone 10-1-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 10/01/15*** LOVELY LILLIE IS A 9 YEAR OLD GIRL WHOSE OWNER ONLY NOW DUMPS HER BECAUSE HE CLAIMS SHE ATTACKS PEOPLE! LILLIE has lived with one owner her entire life. Don’t you think it’s strange that after 9 years all of a sudden the owner complains of her attacking people? He also told the ACC she may have neurological issues but never mentioned taking her to a vet to see if something was wrong. Needless to say, LILLIE is now freaked out in the shelter and it is very unfair to judge her behavior here now after being uprooted and abandoned. Of course she is upset!! LILLIE was punished with a NEW HOPE rating and needs a rescue to pull her.LILLIE needs YOU to save her life and give her a chance for a furever home. She is NOT old like her owner said – she can live another 9 years easily! CONTACT A NEW HOPE RESCUE TO GIVE LILLIE SOME HOPE TONIGHT!

09/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Lillie looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Lillie remains crouched down on her cage bedding, growling in place. Reaction to touch: Lillie allows the stroke, but began to hiss and spit at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Lillie is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
