SWEET SHY TABBY BOY IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY, WITH A GOOD BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HIM ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT LIEUTENANT A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Handsome six-year-old brown tabby & white boy LIEUTENANT finds himself stuffed into the kill-happy ACC as a supposed “STRAY”, but this shy yet sweet fellow came into the shelter FREE of fleas and ear mites, at a healthy weight of nearly 11 pounds! This dear boy is obviously a lost or abandoned pet kitty. Good soldier that he is, Lieutenant earned a very good behavior rating of EXPERIENCE NO CHILD for the way he allowed petting, but the ACC will KILL HIM TOMORROW at noon, despite the fact that Lieutenant is PERFECTLY HEALTHY! Please share our outrage and share him to safety. This soldier deserves better that what the ACC plans to deliver! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable tabby boy LIEUTENANT! If you can’t save LIEUTENANT yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Lieutenant looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Lieutenant remains crouched down with head down, immobile in place. Reaction to touch: Lieutenant accepts the stroke but ears go down during the touch and stiffens up. Placement determination: Experience / no child Lieutenant tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
