LEO – A1039866
6-19-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 06/19/15***BLACK AND WHITE CUTIE NEEDS TLC—BE LEO’S HERO! Leo is a two year old scared kitty may have known love, once upon a time. He may have known nice food, a predictable routine, and a soft bed. Those days are long in the past. The recent days have been spent living rough, making it as best he can. Leo has been scooped up as a stray and may even have forgotten the good days, because the recent days have been so sad. He came in a little battered and needs a calm place to recup. Please don’t let this be the end of the line for Leo. Please contact a NH rescue if you can help. Let’s work together to find happy days for this angel tonight.

06/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Leo was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. Wookie is fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: becomes alert Reaction to touch: growls, hisses, does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick the cat up, fractious behavior Placement Determination: NewHope
