LEO – A1030113
4-6-2015
***UNKNOWN*** Sad sigh! Super sweetheart Leo has made it to the dreaded list so let’s do all we can to move him to safe haven tonight! A volunteer writes, “As I opened Leo’s door, I noticed that his big green eyes were looking at me in fear. I approached slowly to assure him I meant no harm, and as soon as I placed my hand on his head for scratches, he shut his eyes and let out a sigh of relief. Poor Leo didn’t know if it was ok to enjoy the affection I gave him, but once he relaxed, he couldn’t get enough. I even got some purrs out of him! Leo needs a human of his own to teach him that he deserves all the love in the world-.” Seems like poor Leo, 7, who came in as a “stray” was actually dumped at the shelter when his owner died. He is shelter favorite as a staff member wrote, “Leo is a little timid, but very sweet. He warms up quickly and doesn’t want you to leave. As you look into his emerald eyes, it’s like you’re entering the gates of Emerald City, and you know the love of a cat is something magical. Leo has a lot of love to give and he just needs a home in which he can express it. Will you follow the yellow-brick road to Leo?” This great guy is positively purrfect but has sadly caught the (curable) kitty cold which has made his precious life expendable. Let’s help write a happy ending to lovely Leo’s sad tale. You can reserve him online or contact a NH rescue for assistance in transporting him directly to you. Make the call for Leo and be the change you want to see in the world!!!
