Notes: Please note that LemonDrop is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. LemonDrop was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying slighty fearful behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, allows attention, allows handling and tolerates all petting. LemonDrop is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless(2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
