LEMBECK – A1058858
Safe 12-1-2015 Manhattan
***SAFE 12/01/15*** LEMBECK, a 4 month old black beauty and FREDDIE, a 10 years young, golden oldie, came into the shelter as STRAYS. FREDDIE has some dental issues and ALOPECIA on his face so he will need to see a VET. He comes with an EXPERIENCE rating because of his fearfulness. LEMBECK is just a little guy, who’s scared in the shelter and needs EXPERIENCED new owners with no children. If they can be fostered or adopted together that would be great! FREDDIE can use a friend to keep him on his toes and to stay active, he’s still got a lot of life left and FREDDIE can be better for it if staying fit! PLEASE, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT this opposite in every way duo!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Lembeck looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Lembeck remains hiding in his cat den, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Lembeck at first, hisses at the assessor’s hand, but began to accept the stroke while he stiffens up in place and yowls. Placement determination: Experience / no child Lembeck tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
