10/08/15 21:31 Litter Mates : Laila : A1054173 Hallie : A1054174 Laila and her litter mate were brought into ACC today as stray cats. Laila is a female calico cat who appears healthy and clean. She was calm and well behaved throughout the Intak process. She allowed herself to be transferred into a new carrier with minimal effort. She was skittish and would not leave her carrier when transferred but did allow herself to be photographed and collared. She did not display any negative behaviors during the Intake process.

Leila was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was calm and well-behaved throughout the intake process. She was a bit skittish and was reluctant to leave her carrier, but she did not display any negative behaviors. She was also tolerant to handling during her initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Leila remains calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Leila looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes and sniffs around. Reaction to cage door opening: Leila remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Leila slowly comes to the front and sniffs the assessor. She head-butts and begins to purr when pet. Reaction to being picked up: Leila remains calm, but meows to be put back down. Placement Determination: Average Leila interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
