10/10/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/10/15 13: 49 Basic information: Latierri was brought in as a stray. The finder Mercy Ewoodzie found Latierri on the street; she was able to trap Latierri in a cat carrier and brought Latierri to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Latierri was very tense with stiff body. Sydney would retreat from extended hand and growl and hiss at the handler. We were able to scan (negative), however we could not put on the ID collar, or take photo out of the cage. Latierri would attempt to flee and showed signs of fear towards the handler.

10/14/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Latierri looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Latierri remains sitting upright at the back of the cage, alert with a direct stare. Reaction to touch: Latierri accepts the stroke, but seems unsure with the touch and began to hiss at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Latierri tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
