LOVELY LADY ENJOYED CHASING CRUMPLED PAPER BALLS AND FROLICKING WITH THE OTHER CAT IN THE HOUSE- BUT FOR SOME REASON, HER OWNER’S PERSONAL PROBLEMS SENT HER TO THE ACC WITH HER PAL- AND NOW SHE CAUGHT A COLD AND WILL NOW DIE FOR IT!! LADY is a 7 year old beautiful gray girl who is already spayed. LADY was brought in with her housemate, SLIM – A1059528. This sweet girl with the gorgeous eyes caught the shelter cold and is scheduled to die at noon Saturday A volunteer writes: Lady lives up to her name for she is a perfect lady in her gracefulness. She is a beautiful grey kitty with a cute black nose, gorgeous large green eyes which you can’t miss, that are outlined in black like she is wearing eye liner. She really is enchanted with your head rubs, give her chin rubs and she’ll roll on her side purring with contentment, closing her eyes in joy. This sweet girl is a really wonderful kitty, who is a joy to be with. So come stop by and see for yourself. LADY IS WISHING FOR A NEW HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND NOT A LETHAL INJECTION AT NOON. 12/03/15 18:52 Lady is a 7 year old gray female spayed domestic shorthair cat who is being surrender because the owner can no longer care for her. Lady has been in the home almost 7 years. Lady lived with 3 adults and 1 other cat. Lady is an indoor cat and when visitors come to the home she will flee. Lady is affectionate and playful with the other cat in the home. Owner says Lady is affectionate to all family members and will ask for petting. Lady shares an open litter box with clumping litter. Lady will not tolerate a bath and will struggle for a nail trim. Lady enjoys being brushed and petted as well as being picked up but can become restless. She will struggle against going into the carrier and will vocalize for a car ride. Lady likes to play swat and chase with balls of paper but mostly enjoys frolicking with the other cat in the home. When the family is home she likes to be in her own place and when alone she is well behaved. Lady eats dry food. Upon intake Lady was shy but receptive to introduction. Lady attempted to flee for handling but was not insistent with a semi tense body. Counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) collar and photograph. Lady was slightly resistant to being replaced to the carrier.

Lady’s previous owner states that she has lived with three adults and one other cat. She was kept indoors and was reported to flee when visitors came to the home. She is affectionate and playful with the other cat and all the family members. She will ask for petting and enjoys being brushed. She may become restless when picked up, but likes to swat and chase balls of paper, frolicking with the other resident cat. The family says she is well behaved. Reaction to Assessor: Lady was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Lady looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Lady remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Lady was a bit hesitant, but allows all petting and begins to warm up. She rolls over and begins to purr, but she seems wary of the environment and stays by the back of her cage. Reaction to being picked up: Lady remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Experience Lady tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
