Notes: Kush was brought to the care center as a owner surrender but we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Kush is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, chirps Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention, rubs on hand Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling, body soft and relaxed Placement Determination: Beginner
