He came to us as a stray, so we don’t know his background. He is very friendly and playful, very smart as well. Kitty Face would do well with cat parents with some experience who understand that a cat can get overstimulated and need a little space. 11/19/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Kitty looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Kitty remains lying down on his cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Kitty accepts the stroke, but began to gently nip at the assessor’s hand then swat with no claws. Placement determination: Experience / no child Kitty Face is social and affectionate but appears to play roughly. As a result of this observed behavior we recommend adopters who are familiar with signs of behavioral arousal and agitation in cats, so that interactions can be ended before Kitty becomes overstimulated. We also recommend fishing pole-type toys for play as they allow for interaction and vigorous, stimulating exercise while keeping human hands at a distance.
