*** GONE 08/28/15 *** KITTY BOY WAS DUMPED FOR PERSONAL PROBLEMS – NOW THIS SUPER FRIENDLY AND AFFECTIONATE CAT WILL DIE FOR A COLD!! KITTY BOY is about 6 years old and was brought into the shelter perfectly healthy. He has since caught the shelter cold and now will be sentenced to death because the ACC won’t let him finish the round of antibiotics they started him on. KITTY BOY was said by his EX owner to be friendly, playful, affectionate, funny and an all around great cat! So why did he dump this loyal pet? We don’t know. But what we do know that is if someone doesn’t save him by NOON FRIDAY he will be gone forever. ADOPT KITTY BOY NOW BY CONTACTING A RESCUE TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY!

08/04/15 17:58 Kitty Boy is an all black male cat who was surrendered to ACC today. Kitty Boy is a 6 yrs. cat who is neutered and appears to be in good physical health. He is described as being funny and energetic. Kitty Boy is a litter trained cat who uses clay litter is an open litter box. He is an indoor cat who will scratch the furniture and will also play with balls and stuffed toys. Kitty Boy has been described as payful confident friendly assertive talkative affectionate and independent with a medium activity level and who will meow bcause he is nervous when he travels in a car. Kitty Boy has never been given a bath had his nails trimmed or his fur brushed. He is not bothered when he is picked up and held or disturbed from his sleep. He will however struggle and hiss when he is being placed into a carrier. Kitty Boy eats dry food twice a day and will also have mixed treats such as chicken and tuna. He will follow his owner around and stay in the same room as his owner or sleep and stay in his favorite spot which is the closet. KittY Boy has not been socialized with other cats children or dogs. Kitty Boy was calm and friendly during the Intake process. He allowed himself to be transferred into a new carrier and photographed inside the carrier as well. Kitty Boy allowed himself to be picked up and handled with minimal effort. He was curious exploring his new environment and demonstarted a confident demeanor. Kitty Boy appears to be comfortable and demonstrates the ability to adapt to new situations.

Kitty Boy previous owner described him as playful, confident, friendl,y assertive, talkative, affectionate and independent with a medium activity level. At the time of the assessment Kitty Boy was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention and tolerates all petting. Kitty Boy will start to hiss and growl if he sees other cat. He wiil need a few seconds to relax before interacting with him again. Kitty Boy allows brief handling before growling. Kitty Boo is displaying behavior appropriate for a experienced cat owner.
