11/07/15 14:55 Profile wasn’t left due to cat being stray. Behavior During Intake: Kitty was brought into the facility in a cat carrier provided by the finder. Upon arrival Kitty appeared to be fine and allowed all handling at the time of intake.

Kitty came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Kitty allowed handling. Reaction to assessor: Kitty is sitting at the front of her cage, meowing. Reaction when softly spoken to: Kitty rubs against the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: Kitty remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Kitty head-butts the assessor, rolls over and allows petting all over. Reaction to pick up: Kitty struggles and jumps out of assessor’s arms, but remains soft afterwards. Placement Determination: Average Kitty approaches the assessor, solicits and enjoys petting, but is not comfortable with certain types of handling. Kitty is exhibiting behavior suited to average cat parents.
