*** SAFE 06/05/15 *** LITTLE KITANA IS ONLY A YEAR OLD AND ALREADY HAS A SAD STORY…..”Kitana was found curled up outside of a building. She was friendly with her finder. She allowed her to pick her up and transport her here in a box…” This lovely dilute calico was even friendly at the ACC until noises scared her and she swatted the fake hand…..KITANA definitlely deserves more than an EXPNOCHILD rating. She has a cold now so the ACC can’t wait to get rid of her…..PLEASE GIVE THIS GORGEOUS GIRL A CHANCE TONIGHT BY OFFERING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT AND SAVE HER YOUNG LIFE!!

05/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Kitana looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Kitana remains sitting upright by the front of the cage, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Kitana accepts the stroke, head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. However, she drew focus to sudden noises. By trying to get her attention she became agitated then hissed and swatted at the hand. When she saw the assessor has stopped she then began to solicit again. Placement determination: Experience / no child Kitana tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
