KIR – A1038708
6-8-2015 Manhattan
*** GONE 06/08/15*** SECOND CHANCE FOR KIR TONIGHT!!! LET’S MAKE IT COUNT!!! KIR IS A FRIGHTENED KITTY WHO WAS TRAPPED AND DUMPED IN THE ACC WHERE HE SAT UNTIL HIS HOLD WAS UP SO HE COULD BE LISTED. KIR is a stray who was trapped and dumped by some unknown person. KIR was minding his own business and BINGO- he was probably hungry and wandered right into someone’s trap who disliked his presence in their area. Now, all because KIR is afraid – and who could blame him – he will die. KIR may be a lost pet or just a street cat but it is still unfair to kill him for no other reason than the fact he is in the shelter. KIR needs out now or they will kill him at NOON. KIR NEEDS A RESCUE ANGEL WHO HAS THE PATIENCE TO ALLOW HIM TO BE HIMSELF AND DECOMPRESS. IF YOU ARE THAT PERSON CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO SAVE THIS BOY’S LIFE. HE IS NEW HOPE RATED AND MUST BE PULLED BY A RESCUE. LET’S GIVE THIS BOY A CHANCE TO LIVE!!

Reaction to touch: Kir does not allow the stroke, hisses, growls, and swats at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Kir is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting.
