09/25/15 20:42 Behavior during intake: Kipper was a little stressed from being in a box. When he got out of the box he fled but walked calmly around the room and didnt seem to be tense. He sniffed my glove initially but then growled low and swatted at it with claws retracted.

Reaction to assessor: Kipper looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Kipper remains sitting upright by the front of the cage, meow whining. Reaction to touch: Kipper does not allow the stroke and strikes at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Kipper is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
