His special paws gives him sea legs and walk great in the snow, also he has wonderful balance. Polydactyl cats are considered to bring good luck. Note: Kermit was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was nervous upon intake and during his initial medical exam, but remained calm and allowed all handling. Reaction to Assessor: Kermit remains soft, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Kermit meows, comes to the front, and leans onto the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Kermit remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Kermit remains in place for petting, head-butts lightly, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Kermit remains calm and allows handling. Placement Determination: Average Kermit interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
