KEIKO – A1055146
Gone 10-22-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 10/22/15** LIVED WITH KIDS AND DOGS, but was surrendered because of a NEW BABY—what gives? KEIKO is a spayed 4-year-old BEAUTY who got along with everyone, but when her former owner became pregnant, than person suddenly decided that Keiko should go away before the new baby was born…..for what reason, exactly? No one knows, but it’s clearly nothing to do with KEIKO, since she has already lived with young kids just fine! She is rattled at the shelter so, ironically, she has an EXPNOCHILD rating, and she might need some time to decompress at her new home. This is a stunning, beautiful cat who has shown she has what it takes to be a GOOD PET, in her most recent home. Don’t let her former owners’ betrayal be the death of her! Advocate strongly for KEIKO tonight!

10/17/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/17/15 14:49 Basic Information: Keiko is a 4 year old spayed female who had to be surrendered because her previous owner was pregnant. Her previous owner had her since she was a kitten and got her from a friend. Keiko has no known injuries or health problems and the last time she went to the vet was 2 years ago. The two things her previous owner liked most about her were; she loves attention and she’s beautiful. Social Life and Personality: Around children ages 4 and up, Keiko is relaxed and affectionate but doesn’t play. Around dogs she is respectful. Keiko is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. His activity level is medium and he can be described as confident, mellow, friendly, assertive, quiet and independent. Behavior Issues: Keiko has never bitten another animal or person. She can tolerate baths, she isn’t bothered if her coat is brushed, and she is friendly if she is picked up. If she is placed in a carrier she struggles and isn’t bothered if she is disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Keiko used clumping litter in an uncovered litter box. She didn’t really play with toys and also didn’t scratch. When her previous owners were home Keiko would tend to be in her favorite spot and when she played she was gentle. In car rides she meows. She ate both wet and dry Friskies. At night she slept anywhere. Behavior during Intake: Keiko allowed me to collar her, pick her up, and pet her without showing any signs of aggression.
