KATIE – A1044780
8-3-2015 Brooklyn
**GONE 08/03/15** KATIE and BUDDY are gorgeous lifelong companions who were brought to the ACC when their former owner passed away. Whoever delivered them to the high-kill shelter did not leave any owner surrender notes, but both cats have done themselves proud while at the ACC. BUDDY earned a nice AVERAGE rating while KATIE earned a promising EXPERIENCE rating. These cats are spay/neutered and are ready to live out the rest of their long lives in new homes, provided that someone steps up for them tonight!

07/24/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Katie was bought into the care center due to her previous owner passing away. We don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying timid behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: chirps, appears nervous Try picking cat up: Katie’s was tense but allowed handling Placement Determination: Experience
