Reaction to Assessor: Kai was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, he lowers his head and hisses. Reaction to cage door opening: Kai remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Kai hisses, but remains in place for petting. He relaxes a little after and closes his eyes when pet. Behavior Determination: Experience Kai tolerates attention and petting but may be shy or stressed in the shelter. He may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
