*** SAFE 05/23/15 *** JUNIOR HAS TO GO TO THE DENTIST…..and he’s not looking forward to it, just like the rest of us. However, JUNIOR’s neglected mouth issues have improved while at the ACC so he just needs some maintenance…In the purrsonality department he is A-OK… A staff member writes: “Shy and striking Junior is one of the best cats in the shelter, and I’ll tell you why – he can read human emotions. Some cats pick and choose when they want to come up to you for petting based on their mood, but Junior knows when you need him and comes to your rescue. He’ll nuzzle you when you’re sad, and his bright green eyes and little pink tongue poking out will always make you smile. Junior already knows how to make you happy – why don’t you take him home and return the favor?”….MAKE IT A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER FOR JUNIOR AND OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT TONITE!!

05/02/15 14:46 Basic Information Junior is a 3ye old neutured male domestic short haired cat that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner. Social Life & Personality Junior has never been around children, other cats besides the one he lived with, or dogs. So the owner isn’t sure how he will respond in the presence of either. Junior is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Junior is described to be shy, mellow, and quiet with a medium activity level. Behavior Issues Junior has never bitten anyone or another animal in his past. The owner has never tried any grooming agents accept for triming of the nails. The owner explained that it is a struggle to trim the nails and that Junior seems to be afraid of having this done. Junior will allow you to brush his coat and he enjoys it. He likes to be held at times and this can be done without issue according to the owner. For a New Family to Know Junior was brought up using clumping litter and a standard litter box. He doesn’t really have much interest in cat toys and plays with them every so often. When in the home Junior is the type to hide or remain hidden. He doesn’t interact with humans much but when he does he plays in a gentle manner. He doesn’t take well to car rides and will meow/cry the whole time in the car. Junior was brought up eating both wet/dry food and the brand the owner gave was Friskies.
