ears and nose is clear
microphthamia possibly blind
over all body condition is good
flea negative
BARH
RE-EXAM:
small palpebral opening for eyes
cat functionally blind
third eyelids protruding
left globe completely occluded
right globe mostly occluded- globe appears blue, sclerosis/ corneal changes
no ocular discharge
ddx congenital micropthalmia
ddx historical damage to globes- eg herpesvirus- leading to recession of globes and remodeling of eyes
possible ataxia reported
normal placement
ambulatory
nonpaiful
heart and lungs wnl
dehydrated- given 50 cc lrs
no treatments at this time
monitor
BEHAVIOR DURING ADMISSION:
Julliard was receptive to touch. He would rub his head against the Admissions Counselor hand when touched. He was collared, scanned for a microchip(negative) and photographed without displaying any negative behavior.
