JOYOUS – A1034003
5-4-2015 Brooklyn
*** GONE 05/04/15 *** BRING SOME JOY INTO YOUR LIFE!! OR RATHER SOME “JOYOUS”….The owner of JOYOUS could no longer care for her so she landed at the ACC. JOYOUS is only a little over a year old but already SPAYED. A staff member writes: This shy litttle sweetheart might not like the spotight, but Joyous thrives on attention. She is an expert nuzzler and even though I could tell she is still a little nervous, she wants nothing but love whenever I stop to say hello. If you could use a little more joy in your life, come to Brooklyn to give Joyous her forever home.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Joyous was bought to the care center by a family member of the previous owner who could no longer care for the animal. We don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying good behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, allows some handling and tolerates petting. Joyous does become over stimulated after a period of time and moves away. Joyous is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains relaxed (2) Reaction to touch: allows petting (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
