JOSIE – A1041176

***GONE 07/03/15*** HEADBUTTING BLACK AND WHITE OLDER SWEETHEART, DUMPED FOR LITTER BOX ISSUES, HAS A NEAR-PERFECT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT JOSIE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Velvet-furred black and white beauty JOSIE, six years young, was surrendered to the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties when she began having litter box issues. At home, other than the litter box issue, Josie was PURRFECT: “Josie is friendly and outgoing with strangers. She lived with 4 children ages 3-8 and is relaxed, affectionate, and tolerant with them. She doesn’t play with people. She lived with her sister in her previous home. She was affectionate with her sometimes. She lived with small and medium sized dogs with her most recent family. She was respectful of them. She enjoys being picked up and held. She doesn’t mind when someone trims her nails, brushes her, puts her in a carrier, wakes her up, or dresses her up. She’s a little nervous but tolerant during baths. Josie’s family describes her as friendly, affectionate, mellow, quiet, and low energy. Her family loves that she’s comforting when they’re upset. She follows them around and sits on them.” Josie HEADBUTTED her way to a near-perfect AVERAGE behavior rating. However, “Josie has been having accidents out of her litter box on and off since she was 2 years old. She had a few accidents when she first went to her most recent family. Then she urinated out of the box only occasionally until 2-3 months ago, when she began having daily accidents (both urine and feces) on the bed, rug, couch, chairs, and floor. Josie’s owner stated that she falls to the side while she urinates and that she has been like that since she was young. Her vet found no health concerns.” Yet they didn’t get a second opinion?!? REALLY?!? Sadly, poor Josie caught the notorious ACC kitty cold, which the ACC “CURES” via lethal injection; a dose of death is planned for Josie at noon tomorrow. Please don’t let them silence her purrs forever! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable black and white charmer JOSIE! If you can’t save JOSIE yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!
