09/13/15 15:16 Basic Information: Jordan is an altered 3 year old domestic long hair that is an brown tabby and white. He was born in the owner’s home is being surrendered because the owner does not have a place to keep him currently. Jordan has had UTI’s in the past and had surgery to correct the problem. He is not kept on a special dry food diet to help with the problem. The owner states that her favorite thing is how affectionate he is. Social Life and Personality: Jordan has not been around children to know his behavior with them. He is relaxed around the other 4 cats he lives with and exuberant during play. He has not been around dogs to know his behavior with them. He is litter box trained and does not have accidents outside the box. He has free choice to go outside and has a low activity level. His owner describes him as mellow, affectionate, and quiet he is. Behavior: Jordan is afraid of baths and struggles and hisses during them. He has not had his nails trimmed. He enjoys being brushed but near his tail. He is not bothered when picked up, held, placed in a carrier, or disturbed during sleep. For a New Family to Know: Jordan is used to clumping litter inside a hooded litter box. He with does not play with toys. He was not given a scratching post and will scratch on the bed. When people are home he usually follows then around or is in his favorite spots around the home. He is gently during play with his owner. He meows during car rides. He is on a special diet and can only eat dry food. He likes all kinds or treats and sleeps anywhere. Intake Behavior: Jordan sat in the corner of the carrier with a tense body. He allowed be picking up and placing on the counter for photos and collaring. He did not show any aggressive behaviors.

Owner Profile: Jordan was bought into the care center due to his previous owner moving to a new place that does not allow pets. Jordan has not been around children to know his behavior with them. He is relaxed around the other four cats he lived with and was exuberant during play. Jordan behavior around dogs remains unknown . He is litter box trained. Jordan has a low activity level. His previous owner described him as mellow, affectionate, and quiet. Notes: At the time of the assessment Jordan was displaying timid behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, allows attention,allows handling and tolerates all petting. Jordan is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents.
