12/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: JoJo was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: JoJo continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: JoJo remains motionless Reaction to touch: JoJo is very nervous and tense but allows petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: JoJo is very nervous and allows limited handling. Behavior Determination: Experience No Children JoJo was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no childen.
