06/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Joey Mac was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment. At the time of the assessment Joey Mac was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: hisses, growls at me When spoken quietly: hisses, growls at me Reaction to door cage opening: hisses, growl Reaction to touch: hisses, does not allow touching Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of behavior Placement Determination: NewHope
