**SAFE 07/22/15*** BEGINNER JOEY IS A SWEET BOY WHO IS ONLY A LITTLE OVER A YEAR OLD – HE WAS DUMPED FOR PERSONAL PROBLEMS AND NOW HE IS THE ONE WITH HE PROBLEM !!! JOEY’s owner dumped this kitten for personal problems. He said that he was friendly and gentle and good with children. JOEY rocked a SUPER BEGINNER rating at his assessment for proving the owner’s claims on how friendly he is. He was purring, head butting, and seeking attention and petting. WOW what a super cat!!! DON’T LET THIS SWEET BEGINNER BECOME AN ACC STATISTIC TOMORROW – GRAB HIM NOW BY CONTACTING A RESCUE TO PULL HIM TO SAFETY!!!

07/05/15 11:48 Basic Information: Joey is a male Domestic Short Hair who is friendly and gentle. Social life and Personality: Joey has been around children of various ages. Around them he is relaxed and affectionate.When he plays with them he is gentle. Around ither cats Joey is respectful and plays gently and excitidly at times. Joey has not been aorund any dogs so it is unknown how Joey reacts to them. Joey seems to be litter box trained but Joey’s previous owner has not seen him make any accidents because there were other cats in the home. Joey is an indoor cat with a medium personality. Joey’s previous owner describes him as playful, confident,shy, mellow,friendly, assertive,silly, talkative, affectionate, quiet and independant. Behavior issues: Joey tends to claw on furniture and has litter box accidents. Joey has never bitten or scratched another person or animal. Joey enjoys when others give him a bath, brush his coat, and hold him. Joey is not n-bothered by anyone putting him in a carrier or disturbing his sleep. Joey’s previous owner has never trimmed his nail so it is unknown how he reacts to this situation. For a New Family to Know: Joey uses clumping litter in a incovered litter box. Joey likes to play with balls, wand toys, and string and likes to chase things. Joey uses a vertical scratching post made of rough rope When at home Joey will follow you aorund the house and plays gentley with you. Joey eats both wet and dry food from the brand friskies. Joey’s favourite treats are tuna and catnip. Joey sleeps in his own bed. Intake Behavior: Joey was a bit nervous during his intake and stood mostly to the back of the carrier. Joey allowed staff to collar, scan and take pictures of him. Joey showed no signs of aggression and allowed staff to pet and pick him up.

Reaction to assessor: Joey was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, he stretches and head-butts the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Joey remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Joey head-butts vigorously, remain in place for petting, and begin to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Joey remains calm and allows handling. As per previous owner, Joey is relaxed and affectionate around children of various ages. He plays gently when playing with children. Around other cats Joey is respectful and plays gently and excitedly at times. The owner describes him as playful, confident, shy, mellow, friendly, assertive, silly, talkative, affectionate, quiet and independent. Behavior Determination: Beginner Joey interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
