JODY – A1048535
8-27-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 08/27/15***ADORABLE GREY TABBY KITTEN NEEDS YOU-BE JODY’S RESCUE ANGEL! Jody is a 14 week old precious baby who would love the opportunity to be someone’s furever friend. This fab little fella came into the shelter on 8/20 all by his lonesome self. He was treated for a slight case of ear mites but is otherwise purrfectly healthy. In fact, his prognosis is “excellent.” But this sweet angel is still slated to become another sad ACC stat when noon tomorrow rolls around. Jody is ready to entertain his lucky new purrson with his cute kitten antics. Are you that lucky and special new purrson? Please be THE SOMEBODY in “somebody do something.” Jody can be reserved online or contact a NH rescue for assistance with transportation. Please remember fostering saves lives. So if you can offer Jody temp safe haven, let a rescue know. Kittens usually get adopted quickly. Jody can’t wait to meet his lucky new purrson. Won’t you please open up your heart and home to this excellent kitten?

08/25/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Jody was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: appears nervous, stress meows Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Jody becomes tense when held Placement Determination: Experience
