I am a neutered male, orange and white Domestic Shorthair mix.
The shelter staff think I am about 13 years old.
I weigh 5 pounds.
I was found in NY 10025.
I have been at the shelter since Apr 04, 2015.
Medical
Initial 04/04:
Negative MC
Neutered male
BAR, slight dehydration
Nasal discharge and some congestion
Earmites AU (ivermectin 0.05ml)
Negative fleas (activyl)
Missing incisors both upper and lower arcades, moderate staining and mild tartar on remaining teeth, swollen gums, mandible seems to protrude further out (not quite underbite)
Heart WNL, tachycardic w/ excitement, possible ab. lung sounds
NOSF
Re-Exam 04/04:
Neutered male, eating well,
BAR, mild dehydration
Nasal discharge and some congestion – mild URI from outside ACC
Earmites AU – given ivermectin on initial and needed 2 weeks later
Missing incisors both upper and lower arcades, moderate staining and mild tartar on remaining teeth, swollen gums, mandible seems to protrude further out (not quite underbite)
could not assess thyroid slip
Heart WNL, no murmurs. Low to normal bronchovesicular sounds
amd palp soft, small soft kidneys
AMB x 4, M/S – emaciated , BCS 2/9
A: Geriatric

Mild rhinitis and lacrimal staining – URI from outside ACC

small soft kidneys,r/o kidney dz- Labwork done and just dehydrated, not a kidney cat

P: NH placement for senior care with T4 needed. Labwork at ACC is dehydration. Not Kidney Dz
combo : CBC:chem: Cysto : UA: into tech check – done and supported dehydration not kidney dz.
tech to enter labwork levels and paper can be sent with the cat when placed.
amox/potas – 0.7 cc PO BID 14 d
vomit – today later on – 0.25 cc SC Cerenia x 2 more days
