*** SAFE 04/23/15 *** 9MONTH OLD KITTEN JIM HENSON NEEDS YOU TONIGHT!! A staff member writes: This little muppet is sure to melt your heart. He takes a little time to warm-up but starts to lean in once you give him some good chin and cheek scratches. He may be a background player in our cast of rag-tag friends, but he still appreciates attention. Can Jim Henson join your puppet show?

04/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Jim was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and remains neutral when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Placement Determination: Experience
