10/27/15 15:35 Basic Information: Jetta is a 4 year old black male dometic shorthair cat. He was surrendered by his owner due to personal problems. He is described as shy, mellow and and independent. Personality: Jetta has not been around children or dogs. Around cats he is relaxed and tolerant; he plays gentle. He is litterbox trained and exclusively uses the litterbox. He has been kept mostly indoors and has a medium activity level. Behavior: Jetta owner has never given him a bath, or trimmed his nails. He is fearful of being brushed and will allow his owner to brush him for only a few moments. He struggles when held and will attempt to flee. He is afraid when put into a carrier but can lured in with food. Over the last month Jetta has been urinating outside his box, a few times a week, he was not taken to the vet for this problem. For a new family to know: Jetta uses clay litter, Arm & Hammer brand, and an uncovered litterbox. He scratches on a cardboard horizontal scratching post. When home he tends to stay hidden and rarely seek attention. In car rides he is relaxed and usually sleeps. He eats both wet and dry food, Friskies brand, and enjoys any and every treat. He usually sleeps on top of his owners dresser. Upon intake Jetta was calm and had a loose body, he allowed all handling. Counselor was able to scan, collar and photograph.
