JERY CURLS – A1035464
5-27-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 05/27/15*** JERY CURLS IS IN ONE FINE MESS-NEEDS RESCUE ANGEL! What do you think? Should a sweet but scared kitty die due to her fear? Poor one year old, Jery Curls has been at the shelter since 5/6 when she came in as a trapped stray but she is not at all aggressive. She is just extremely shy and has been hiding under her blanket. This little lady is healthy, calm and just needs a patient owner who will give her time to decompress and warm up. She received a respectable experienced rating which means that once Jery Curls feels safe, she will settle in and be a great furever friend. Please offer this sweet but sad girl a new “leash” on life. Please reserve her online or contact a NH rescue for assistance with transportation. Won’t you please be the rescue angel who can rescue Jery Curls from her fine mess? Her life depends on it!!!

05/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Jery Curls was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: did not attempt Placement Determination: Experience
