07/14/15 19:00 Basic Info: Tom A1044011 is a silver tabby & her sister Jerri A1044011 a calico are 1yr old sisters who were given to the owner by friends at 3months of age and are being surrendered due to the owner being deployed and having no one to care for them while they’re away. They were last a veterinarian a month ago and have no known health problems/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Tom & Jerri are friendly/outgoing. They’ve spent time with a 8yr & 11yr olds they were relaxed/affectionate and would play gently with adults & the children alike. Together Tom & Jerri are relaxed/affectionate and play gently, also with the middle aged male Chihuahua. They’ve never bitten/scratched a person or animal. Behavior: In the car ride over Tom & Jerri were relaxed. They aren’t bothered by bath time, being brushed, being put into a carrier. They’ve never been disturbed while sleeping or had their nails trimmed so behaviors are unknown. They enjoy being held. For a New Family to Know: Tom & Jerri are described as friendly, affectionate, playful & mellow (at times). Their activity level is medium. The owners’ favorite thing about Tom is how she plays with their hair and how affectionate Jerri is. When the owner is home they follow them around sometimes. They enjoy ball and string toys. They’re indoor cats. They sleep with the owner or on their cat bed in the owner’s room. They eat Purina Cat Chow dry & wet food 2x a day. They are litter box trained, their litter box is uncovered and has clumping litter within. They don’t have a scratching post, according to the owner they scratch on their litter box. Intake Behavior: Tom & Jerri allowed all handling. They allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of including being positioned for pictures. Both were very interested in exploring their surroundings which made picture taking a little difficult. They didn’t mind being stopped/held from jumping off the counter.

Jerri’s former owner stated around strangers Tom & Jerri are friendly/outgoing. She has spent time with a 8yr & 11yr olds they were relaxed/affectionate and would play gently with adults & the children alike. Together Jerri and the other cat are relaxed/affectionate and play gently, also with the middle aged male Chihuahua. Reaction to assessor: Jerri immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Jerri remains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Jerri rubs on the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remaina calm. Placement determination: Beginner Jerri interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
