***SAFE 12/28/15*** ***TO BE DESTROYED 12/27/15*** Poor JENNER! Only two days after Christmas and he’s going to have to fight to stay alive! He’s a 5 year old, NEUTERED male who is being surrendered, and boy, is this excuse a doozy! “Being surrendered due to him being a STRAY and have other pets”! They found him in June and NOW decide they can’t keep him? This guy is an AVERAGE rated gem that would make any house a home! PLEASE, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT JENNER and give him the good life that he deserves!

12/10/15 15:47 Basic Information: Jenner is approx 5 year old unaltered domestic shorthair. He was found as a stray in June 2015. Owner surrenders Jenner due to him being a stray and having other pets. Social Life and Personality: Jenner lived outside of owner porch and stays around all day. Jenner has been around adult and teenagers. Owner stated he’s affectionate and tolerant towards everyone in the household. Jenner behavior is unknown towards cats. Owner stated she has a dog and Jenner was tolerant and distance towards him. He’s outdoors only and activity level is high. Owner describes Jenner as playful, friendly, shy and affectionate. Behavior: Owner stated Jenner never bitten or scratched anyone. Jenner was never given a bath or nail trim. He only allows to be picked up when one person is around. For a New Family to Know: Owner isn’t sure if Jenner is litter box trained because it wasn’t one provided. He likes to play with wand toys and follow owner around down the block. Jenner eats wet and dry food called 9 lives. Jenner comes indoors when it’s cold outside and is well behaved. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Jenner was meowing and calm but when outside carrier he attempt to flee multiple times. He scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.

Jenner is described as playful, friendly, shy and affectionate. Reaction to assessor: Jenner was at the front of the cage eating. When spoken quietly: Jenner stays at front and continues eating Reaction to door cage opening: Jenner remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Jenner allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Jenner is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Jenner was displaying calm behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Jenner is displaying behavior appropriate for a new cat owner.
