Gorgeous 4-year-old neutered gray tabby and white boy JENGA was sadly surrendered into the kill-happy ACC when his old owner was EVICTED. At home, Jenga was PURRFECT: “Around strangers, Jenga is friendly and outgoing. He plays very gentle with adults and loves to eat potato chips and bread. He is very gentle around children.. He has spent time around other cats and dogs. He plays very well with both. He has lived with a pit bull and another cat named Goldie. The owner said that Jenga loves to sleep on the bed with the pit bull. Jenga loves baths and brush outs. Jenga loves water. The owner describes Jenga as friendly, affectionate, confident, independent, talkative, and playful. He has a high activity level. He loves to play with his toys. He loves to play with squeaky toys and bottle caps. He has been mostly kept indoors. He loves to sleep on the bed. During intake, Jenga was very affectionate.” He CHIRPED, PURRED, and KNEADED during his behavioral test, so it’s no wonder he aced a perfect BEGINNER rating! 06/07/15 17:41 Jenga is an approximately 4 year old DSH. He is being surrendered because the owner recently was evicted and cannot keep him. Socialization Around strangers, Jenga is friendly and outgoing. He plays very gentle with adults and loves to eat potato chips and bread. He is very gentle around children.. He has spent time around other cats and dogs. He plays very well with both. He has lived with a pitbull and another cat named Goldie. The owner said that jenga loves to sleep on the bed with the pitbull. If jenga is on the bed first, she’ll allow the pitbul to get on but if the pitbull is there first he will not let Jenga on the bed. Behavior Jenga loves baths and brush outs. The woner said that she has been bathing her cats since kittens and Jenga loves water. He has never been in a carrier so he gave the owner a hard time. For a new family to know The owner describes Jenga as friendly, affectionate, confident, independent, talkative, and playful. He has a high activity level. He loves to play with his toys. He loves to play with squeaky toys and bottle caps. He has been mostly kept indoors. He loves to sleep on the bed. Goldie is litterbox trained and eats purina catfood. Behavior during intake During intake, Jenga was very affectionate. He allowed scanning (negative), collaring and petting. He was very easy to handle. He did not struggle when transferred into a different carrier. He was very sweet and calm throughout the process.

Reaction to assessor: Jenga chirps upon approach and is calm, relaxed, and friendly. When softly spoken to, he stretches his arms out. Reaction to cage door opening: Jenga remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Jenga gets up and leans onto the assessor’s hand. After some petting, he begins to purr and knead on his bedding. Reaction to being picked up: Jenga remains calm and allows handling. As per previous owner, Jenga is friendly and outgoing around strangers. He plays very gentle with adults and is also gentle around children. He plays well with both cats and dogs, and even sleeps with the pit-bull he lived with. According to the owner, Jenga loves water and likes being bathed. They described him as friendly, affectionate, confident, independent, talkative, and playful. Behavior Determination: Beginner Old Bay interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
