***SAFE 11/04/15*** JAD WAS LOOKING FOR A HOME AND ALL HE GOT WAS THE ACC…..JAD was found with two other kittens and approached the finder hoping to get luck….not so much…. JAD is 5-6 months old and in good shape. He can be a little shy but the right purrson can correct that situation with a little Time and TLC. We’re certain it won’t take long!! I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/18/2015 from NY 11435, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-036422.

10/18/15 10:39 Jad is a 5 month old Gray tabby and white kitten with no known medical conditions. Jad was found wandering loose with 2 other kittens. Jad approached finder seeking attention and allowed to be picked up and pet. During intake Jad was vocal ion the carrier. Jad was tense when counselor approached but allowed to be collared. While counselor was petting Jad she began to purr and relaxed. Jad allowed all handling.

Reaction to assessor: Jad does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Jad does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Jad remains motionless Reaction to touch: Jad seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Jad is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Jad also nervous meows while being held Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Jad was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
