JACOB was said to be afraid of the Finder’s daughter but upon assessment, he was friendly and allowed handling. So he earned himself a BEGINNER rating! JACOB should be a great fit in most any home. 09/05/15 15:04 Jacob has been living inside of the finders apartment building. She has been feeding him for the last month and hes been staying on her floor. For the past couple of weeks, he has been sitting in front of her door and says that he is very friendly towards her but is scared around her small daughter. Behavior during intake Jacob is very friendly and allowed all handling-scanning(-), collaring and photographs.

Note: Jacob was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. The finder says he is friendly towards her, but is fearful around her small daughter. He was very friendly upon intake, and allowed handling during his initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Jacob was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Jacob comes to the front and reaches out with his paw. Reaction to cage door opening: Jacob remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Jacob lightly head-butts, remains in place for petting, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Jacob remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Jacob interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
