***SAFE 08/01/15***SWEET PANTHER JACK IS 4 YEARS OLD AND A CHUBSTER!! JACK is 18 lbs!! And supposedly a “stray”……The only thing that the ACC has done for JACK is give him a cold….This beautiful big boy aced his behavior eval with an awesome average rating—he’s calm, gentle, super affectionate. In other words, he’s the purrfect gentleman….His only “flaw?” he’s got a couple of curable kitty sniffles—easily treatable. SO HOW ARE WE GOING TO HELP THIS HEFTY EBONY MAN?? BY FOSTERING OR ADOPTING!! JACK is a nice cat dumped at the ACC by someone who didn’t want to pay the surrender fee…LET’S DO BETTER FOR JACK TONITE AND HELP HIM FIND A PURRMANENT HOME!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Jack was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, allows handling and tolerates all petting. Jack is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed, seems curious Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention, likes chin rubs Try picking cat up: Jack allows brief handling, rather not be held Placement Determination: Average
