07/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Hunter was returned to the care center by her previous owner due to her URI and being unable to give Hunter the medicine. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steadys low approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but appears relaxed When spoken quietly: does not come to front but appears relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: tries to aviod being touched Try picking cat up: allows handling, body tense Placement Determination: Experience
