HUCK – A1043631
7-15-2015 Manhattan
*** GONE 07/15/15 *** HANDSOME HUCK NEEDS A FEW GOOD MEALS….HUCK is a mature 10 year old who was found as a stray. And boy is he happy to have regular meals again!! Sadly the ACC would rather kill HUCK than continue to feed him so he is listed tonight……HUCK is a relaxed guy who didn’t appreciate being poked with the “fake hand” but he will warm up nicely in a home where he is loved and the food bowl is full…..SENIOR CATS MAKE GREAT COMPANIONS….FIND OUT BY OFFERING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT HUCK NOW!!

07/14/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Huck was calm and relaxed upon approach. When softly spoken to, he comes to the front and attempts to sniff the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Huck remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Huck remains in place and seems indifferent to touch. When the assessor pets him on the back, he focuses on the hand and nips gently to warn the assessor to stop. When trying to continue petting, he pats the hand without nails and does not display any further reaction. Reaction to being picked up: Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Huck tolerates attention and petting but may not like petting on certain areas of his body. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
