05/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please take note: Houdini is very shy and fearful. She have not been socialized with the public only with the former owners family members. She also is playful and repectful with both adults and children. Reaction to assessor: Houdini looks wary in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Houdini remains crouched down at the back of the cage, yowling in place. Reaction to touch: Houdini submissively walks towards the assessor’s hand with pupils fully dilated, ears slightly down, and tail tucked between her legs. After, she began to head-butt the assessor’s hand and accept the stroke, while she remains on edge with her surroundings. Placement determination: Experience / no child Houdini tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
