**SAFE 11/18/15** “A volunteer writes: Hopper is a gorgeous tabby who tends to hide and is fearful. Poor thing, what could have frightened her so? With lots of loving and support from experienced cat parents, Hopper’s fears could be put to rest allowing for her “big reveal” — an affectionate and playful kitty!” HOPPER is SPAYED, and this lovely girl has suffered some kind of incident that left her jaw and eye orbit rather swollen. This striped superstar needs some TLC from a FOSTER or ADOPTER tonight!

11/08/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Hopper came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Hopper attempted to flee. Reaction to assessor: Hopper is lying in the back of her cage, behind her litter box. Reaction when softly spoken to: Hopper hides her face from the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Hopper’s ears go flat and she continues to hide. Reaction to touch: Hopper allows petting all over body but remains tense. Placement Determination: Experience Hopper seems to be very fearful in the shelter, but allows all handling. Hopper is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents, and may need additional adjustment time in a new home.
