***SAFE 07/18/15*** BEGINNER- AND AVERAGE-RATED CHIRPING AND PURRING KITTEN SIBLINGS HAVE GREAT BEHAVIOR RATINGS AND A VOLUNTEER PLEA, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE THEY SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT ATLAS AND HERMES A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Adorable 13-month-old sister and brother kittens ATLAS (a gray tabby girl) and HERMES (a black and white boy) find themselves slung into the kill-happy ACC as STRAY waifs. Atlas quickly caught the eye of an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: “Atlas doesn’t have a care in the world. She reached out to me and invited me to play. She is a super sweet young lady who would make a welcome addition to any family.” Atlas earned a near-perfect AVERAGE behavior rating for her CHIRPS and PURRS, while Hermes earned a rare-but-perfect BEGINNER rating for his GENTLE, TRUSTING RUBS! But both of these little loves will DIE at noon tomorrow, INNOCENT VICTIMS of the notorious ACC kitty cold and a badly broken shelter system. Don’t let the ACC silence their sweet purrs forever! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt daring kitten siblings ATLAS and HERMES! If you can’t save them yourself, please SHARE their sad story and PLEDGE for their rescue!

07/03/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Hermes was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Hermes is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: at the front on the cage, looking for attention When spoken quietly: stays at front, continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft & relaxed, tries to casually walk out the cage Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention, rubs whole against on hand Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling. Placement Determination: Beginner
