I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/22/2015 from NY 10463, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/22/15 13:00 Basic information: Hampton was brought in as a stray. The finder found her in a park, the finder placed Hampton in a cat carrier and brought him to the shelter. No other information could be provided during intake. Intake Behavior: During intake Hampton was relaxed with soft body. Hampton allowed to be scanned (negative), collared, pictured, picked up and placed in a cat kennel.

Reaction to door opening: Hampton remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Hampton head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Hampton interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
