10/08/15 21:31 Litter Mates : Laila : A1054173 Hallie : A1054174 Hallie and her litter mate were brought into ACC today as stray cats. Hallie is a female white and gray cat who appears healthy and clean. She was nervous and aloof throughout the Intake process. She allowed herself to be transferred into a new carrier but growled and hissed during the process. She also growled and hissed when an attempt was mad to place a collar around her neck. She did however allow herself to be photographd inside of her carrier.

Hallie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was fearful and nervous throughout the intake process, and became defensive during her initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Hallie was calm and relaxed upon approach, and rolls onto her side. Reaction when softly spoken to: Hallie meows and starts to knead. Reaction to cage door opening: Hallie remains soft and relaxed, and rolls on her back. Reaction to touch: Hallie remains in place for petting, gently head-butts, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Hallie remains calm and allows handling. Placement Determination: Average Hallie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
