07/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Guppy does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside her cage. When softly spoken to, she focuses on the assessor and begins to growl. Reaction to cage door opening: Guppy becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Guppy hisses and begins to yowl. She does not allow touch; she swats at the assessor’s hand and continues to yowl. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Guppy is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and/or may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to swat and does not currently tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
