10/28/15 11:06 Upon intake Gumdrop came in a trap cage. Gumdrop eyes were dilated and retrieve to the back of carrier. No handling at this time.

Reaction to assessor: Gum Drop was hiding when I approach cage When spoken quietly: Gum Drop continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Gum Drop becomes stiff, alert Reaction to touch: Gum Drop growls and hisses. He does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: Did not attempt to pick up Gum Drop due to fractious behavior. Behavior Determination: NewHope Gum Drop is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
