GULLIVER – A1053774
Gone 10-10-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 10/10/15 *** SECOND CHANCE FOR GULLIVER TO TRAVEL TO A NEW HOME!! WHAT IS SWEET GULLIVER’S STORY?? Why is this handsome mature gent roaming the streets and not curled up in a warm lap or bed in a home?? GULLIVER is estimated to be 10 years old and already NEUTERED…GULLIVER has growths in his ear which are blocking his ear canal but surgery can fix that and be curative. He also some has some dental issues not unusual for an older guy….GULLIVER HAS SURVIVED THIS LONG AND WE THINK HE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE….PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING HOME AN “OLDER MAN” TONIGHT….and Let The Neighbors Talk…..

10/05/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/05/15 10:35 Gulliver A1053774 seems to be an older male gray & white DSH feline who was found in the finder’s neighborhood two days ago in the Bronx. They didn’t know we were open seven days a week so they brought him in today. The finder stated he’s a good sweet boy who talks a lot. They felt bad for him due to his thin body frame and that he appears to be sick. They aren’t able/willing to keep him. The finder stated they have a cat but Gulliver was kept separate from them. He ate wet food, used a make shift litter box and slept on linen in the apartment hallway. During intake Gulliver was vocal (meowing) and allowed all handling. He allowed us to scan (-), collar and take his pictures including positioning him during the photo session. Gulliver didn’t resist or vocalize negatively when he was picked up/held to transfer him into a kennel. Gulliver remained at the front of the kennel to eat soft food & drink some water.

10/08/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Gulliver looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Gulliver remains sitting upright by the front of the cage, alert with a relaxed face. Reaction to touch: Gulliver accepts a stroke, but began to strike and nip at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience / no child Gulliver tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
