SAFE ** GRUBS WAS PURRING ON INTAKE AND WAS PERFECTLY HEALTHY – NOW HE HAS A COLD AND A SPOT ON DEATH ROW!** GRUBS was brought into the ACC as a stray. He was friendly and puring at intake. As time went on GRUBS became quite aware that this is not a good place to be and sadly he also caught the kitty cold in this germ infested place. GRUBS now sits on DEATH ROW waiting for his doom unless a kind hearted person will come pay his bail tonight! GRUBS is about 6 years old and a very handsome tuxie boy. He belongs napping on your sofa and getting some good food and love! GRUBS WANTS TO LIVE TONIGHT – AND YOU CAN HELP HIM BY CONTACTING A RESCUE AND OFFERING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT. Reaction to assessor: Grubs looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Grubs remains lying down on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Gubs accepts the stroke, but hesitant with the touch. He then began to lean against the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: Experience Grubs tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
